Comfort comes in many forms. To some it may be a kind word from another
sharing the loss of a loved one, even though the comforters spirituallity
may be different. Both receive comfort - one for the loss of their
beloved companion and one for providing kindness to another.

Loss of life painfully impacts those associated with the being. It's a
simple act of love and kindness to try and comfort another during those
times. The world would be a much warmer place if only we would make an
effort to be kind to others.

Please don't forget that we are individuals and manage losses in our own
individualized ways. Some may take loss exceptionally deeply and mourn
for a very long time, others may take loss in stride. But the ending is
the same when life's flame is extinguished, an empty spot is left behind.

Please, lets all try to be kind to others even if their beliefs are
different from our own.

Pond -
I'm considering putting a small pond set-up in our living room for the
ferrets to play in and on. Not with water, but perhaps with rice or
sand or cornstarch peanuts. I think they would enjoy climbing in and
around the rocks and having the rock pond in the living room may add
a little tranquility to our home. Problem is finding just the right
small pond that will not only fit but provide exercise and fun for the
ferrets. It's perhaps an unconventional idea, but then I'm far from
conventional. :-)

Warm hugs. tle
