Zen asks why a shelter would want to buy Dr. Weiss' video.

Well they won't be showing it at the local multiplex for one thing! :-)

While most shelter operators will NOT be trying the surgical procedures (!)
the video also covers symptoms, diagnosis, pre and post operative care and
other issues that would be of great interest to them.

And as a former shelter operator, I know that finding, training and caring
for a good ferret vet can be rather difficult. If I were still operating
a shelter, I would buy the video and loan it to prospective shelter vets.
Their interest in viewing it and buying it for themselves would help me
determine if they are truly interested in learning as much as possible
about ferret care. I did the same thing with the medical FAQs a few years
ago: some vets would look at them dismissively, others would show great
interest and eat up as much Internet info as I could find for them.
