good gawd, don't turn the poor thing over to a mink ''farm.'' it's sure to
be killed (as cheaply as possible and with no concern for the animal's pain)
for its coat, which ... but BIG probably won't let us get into an animal
rights discussion, even tho recommending it be returned to a certain death
is about as anti-animal as possible.
 
would anyone on this list return a lost ferret if they knew it was going to
be killed for its pelt?
 
find a wildlife rehabilitator (thru your state fish and game or dept of
natural resources) and let them take over.
