For those of you who may be in the same boat (a ferret with an adrenal
tumor who is already missing an adrenal gland), you may be happy to know
that Max is still doing well after his bilateral adrenalectomy. He's on
daily medication, and he does seem to be losing some weight, but he still
has the same old energy as before - he's quite a fighter. I'm still not
sure either way if he'll make it, but he's holding strong now.

If you are having the same problem and are considering this procedure,
you can get in touch with either myself or Dr. Joseph Bock of Golden,
CO. I believe Dr Williams was going to get in touch with Dr Bock about
this, but you'd have to check with him...

Btw - the FAQ currently states that removing both adrenal glands is
impossible - maybe it should be updated with this possibility?

Thanks to everyone for your help - in particular Stephanie of Ferrets
Etc. :)
