Hi everyone!

So weeks after all the flu discussion, I have not one but two ferrets
who seem to have caught my flu. At first I thought it was just going
to be Valentine, who seems to be recovering nicely (enough to bounce
around the room at 3 this morning), but last night Eddie developed bad
congestion. Speaking to my vet we agreed to pretty much wait it out
before going for antibiotics or anything like that-- no one's having
trouble breathing and they're both hydrated and eating-- but Eddie's
congestion is making him pretty miserable. Reading up on the FHL I
found Dr. Murray's "drop of Afrin on the nose" remedy, seems to
momentarily make him more comfortable. Are there any other home
remedies that can just make them a little happier? Right now with
Eddie I'm treating him like I did Valentine-- just letting him sleep,
keeping him warm and making sure he's not getting dehydrated. Any
ideas anyone has would be great. Thanks a lot!
