Our ferrets eat cucumber, banana, raisins, prunes, dried apricots, dried
apple, and, unfortunately, Eukanuba dog food as snacks. (We don't give
the dog food, but they sneak it when they can.) The vet has a new dog
snack Butler Lean Treats and it's made mostly of chicken. So far, two
of our guys eat it. In an effort to choose the best of the veggies they
love so much, I looked up the sugar and carb content of a lot of them.
These #s are for whole products w/ sugar/carbs, but it gives us a general
idea of what is high & not good to feed.
