Barbara wrote to say that her Pepper-ferret has learned to jump the gate,
and asks:

Oh yes!  Take some of those cardboard rolls that paper towels come on, and
slice them down one side.  Then spread the slice apart, slip them over the
top of the gate, and duct-tape them in place from the forbidden side.  The
little rascals can't get a good grip this way, and so they just slide off.
I wonder if your Pepper will hiss about *that?* :)
