Well, after I sent in the posts to the fml and to the Kodo list, I got some
replies.
 
One of them basically told me to butt out.
 
I am not trying to start a "rival" organization.  I am not territorial, I
have not seen anything in a public forum about it and when someone requested
a person to start such an organization, I decided to do so.
 
I enjoy doing things like this, which is why I started a ferret club in
Houston.  I have also had experience at writing grant proposals for non
profits and helped to establish curbside recycling in my old neighborhood.
I have been doing this type of work off and on for over 10 years.
 
But some people seem to think I have another agenda.  I don't.  The only one
I have is the one I state.
 
The only thing I care about is that is does get done.  So I will bow out.
