In the 3 years I've been with FML, yours is the first post I've seen from
Iowa!
 
My business partner, who is from Iowa, says people in Iowa don't have
ferrets; at least not very many do.  Is this true?  There is a large and
active ferret community here in Portland, Oregon.  It's hard to imagine
a place in the US without them, since they are the 3rd most popular pet
these days.
