The other day my fiancee and I had a family get together at our place.
The fuzzies were kept in their cage in our bedroom with the AC on full
blast, thereby muffling the noise and keeping them cool.

A few relatives who hadn't seen our place were given a tour -- including
the bedroom where our "kids" were sound asleep. Our little girl was
curled up in her hammie and our boy was curled up in his bedding, not
even a nose poking out as far as I could see. They don't get any more
angelic than that! :) But, I received a few dirty looks when our
non-ferret-knowledgeable (for lack of a better word) relatives took a
peak at our little ones. I was/am deeply hurt.

My fiancee says that their ignorance is their loss -- they'll never know
the love and bouncy antics that come from owning a fuzzy. But I still feel
bad. Am I over reacting? Has anyone else encountered such a situation?

Thank you for listening...
