Important dates and happenings for HOFA. Meetings, guest speakers and
more. Come learn and have fun! The meetings start at 2PM at Jackie's
house 3769 Almont Drive Columbus, OH 43229.

On July 19th Michelle Tussing will be speaking on research. Michelle
has been in the research field for over 13 years and worked with
animals for over 20. Research is something that touches our lives
everyday.

The August 16th meeting will be the "Let's get ready for the FBB"
meeting. *** ADV tests will be done after the July 19th meeting so
if anyone needs to retest, there will be time.

August 29th... The largest ferret show in the country, The Ferret
Buckeye Bash!!! Meet ferret lovers from all over the country. Enter
your photo in the photo contest. Information available on the HOFA
website. Large raffle. Several vendors with a huge variety of items
being sold. Not to be missed! Always a great time!

September 20th meeting will be the "We Survived The FBB Party"... : - )

On October 18th Nathan from Pet People will be giving a talk on
nutrition. Nathan is owned by ferrets and feeds a combination of
kibble and raw.

At the November 15th meeting we will be having a quiz prepared by our
Health Chair Ann Grimm. It will be a fun and helpful quiz to test your
knowledge of ferrets health and nutrition.

December 13th will be our get your ferrets (you and your children
also) pictures taken with Santa Claus. Our own Dan Gallagher makes
a wonderful Santa and has had many years experience with ferrets!!!

You do not need to be a member of HOFA to join us. Once again, come,
learn and have fun. Everyone is welcome!!!
