A little more to report. The Everett, Washington Petco purchased this last
batch of ferret merchandise from Triple F. As upsetting as this was/is for
the people who purchased this ferret I asked them to take the body back to
Petco and ask for (1) their money back and (2) to be reimbursed for their
emergency vet bill.

They put their emotions on the line and did return to Petco where they
opened the shoe box and sat it on the counter for the store manager. He
immediately closed the box and tried to get them into the back room. They
chose to stay where they were, at the counter. The manager agreed to
return their money rather than replace the ferret and he did take a copy of
the emergency vet bill stating he had to check with his district manager
regarding reimbursing that expense. Will let you know if this occurs or
not.

Interesting to note that the store manager told them he didn't know how old
the ferrets were when they arrived, he said that wasn't on the paperwork
sent with them.
