The other day I received an interesting package filled with medical supplies
in a wonderful black tote bag. The note simply said it was from all the
ferrets I've known and those to come. I'd like to thank the person (people)
responsible for this wonderful anonymous package. Sending a donation
anonymously makes it impossible for the receiver to give thanks where they
are due.

Please let me take the opportunity to thank all who have sent donations
(anonymously and not) to Ferret Family Services and all other shelters.
Your support is greatly appreciated by one and all.

Love and Differences - Kelley was eating breakfast (cereal) and she would
toss a piece down for each of the ferrets so she could eat too. Abbey was
the only one of the group that kept her distance. Poto had eaten her share
but was begging for more. Kelley thought Poto was just being a little pig
but she relented and gave her another piece. Poto picked up the cereal and
took it over to where Abbey was and laid it in front of her. Abbey gently
took it and ate it. To this day this true story still brings tears to my
eyes.

This is the loving, sharing nature that is my goal.

Please let's all not forget what brought us together and what our goals are.
Let's put our personal differences behind us and unite to make this world a
better place for our beloved ferrets. There is much work to be done.

Funny Ferret - I've seen the picture of the angora ferret on the stool. My
how cute he looks. I couldn't have one though because I'd giggle all the
time and probably give them an inferiority complex. They are all adorable!
Whenever I get sad I look at that picture and it never fails to bring a
smile to my face.

Hugs to all. tle (aka Sprite)
