Dear Ferret Folks-
 
Yesterday Kristeen asserted that "Males - usually accept you as your
owner and want to please you right away." As a happily married woman, I
can attest to the accuracy of this statement.  Still, on occasion it is
necessary to let them go to hockey games, and to let them purchase tools.
From time to time a good thump on the nose accompanied by a stern "No!"
is called for.  But in general, men do adapt to their subordinate role
easily with a little loving guidance.
 
Personally, I am against neutering.
