Howdy y'all:

Was just reading the letters in article 655, and had to comment on the way
that you all treat your babbies. Some of the letters realy made me laugh
so loud that my wife was ready to call the Coco Puffs truck and have me
hauled away. But some of the letters made me cry like a baby.

We lost our baby Harley the other day, some of the symptoms were
mentioned in the letters: ie.. shaking, panting, slowness ( preceeded
the first 2 mentioned symptoms ) draging of the rear legs. He was my
first baby. I know that I will always remember him and the little things
he used to do. He will be in my heart forever.

We gave him a royal send off, I devised ( which was easy, since we live
on a lake ) a viking funeral. After all aren't they proud, heroic and
fearless creatures.

I am realy impressed at the way that everyone loves thier children, and
I'm very glad to be a member of this group.

Can someone explain to me about the MF ferrets, since I just joined I
realy don't know what your talking about.

One of our other babies ( scooter the tyrant ) has come up with a new
game.

He has stopped picking on our 225 lb pig and has started a game called
" Let's hide the New Kittens under the couch ", he even has stopped his
very favorite game of " Let's see if dad can go sockless to work "
( he takes all my clean socks out of the clothes basket after my wife
removes them from the dryer and hides them all over the house), in favor
of this new game.

He doesn't hurt them, but if you listen to the kittens you would think
someone is beating them severly.

Hey chris, in reply to your question about how well, does my pig and
ferrets get along with each other. Well... augie ( 2.5 years old ) has
been with chopper ( the pig ) for 2 years now and they kind of ignore
each other, but scooter is another story. Scooter is about 1yr. old and
he thinks that the only reason that were here is to feed and play with
him.

He owns the house, first he made submissive the 2 older cats, then
he conquered Augie ( actually I think he is biding his time ), as I
mentiond earlier he hides the kittens so momma cat has to find them to
feed them, now he's trying to whittle down the pig.

They chase after each other for about 10 minutes, by then chopper is
beat tired. NOT SCOOTER, fun time is only beginning. While chopper is
trying to sleep, scooter's climbing him like a mountain, iv'e seen
chooper nip at him after a while, but he's not realy trying and scooters
too fast.

I'll be able to let you know how a ferret and iguana get along later
next week, my neighbor fell in love with my sharks and he purchased one
yesterday. He owns an iguana and he read your letter and proceede to
head right home and start ( slowly but surely ) introducing them to each
other.
