Today on the Today Show on NBC there was a news story of how Pet
Smart buys animals from pet "factories" that treat these animals most
inhumanely. There was a cage full of white ferrets that were being
terribly abused among other small fur pets.

A qualified vet reviewed the filmings, more than what was aired,
and her statement was that those animals were being most inhumanely
treated, some injured, some screaming in pain and agony, some starved,
one was thrown alive into the trash!

I cannot support this kind of activity. Those who work in those places
need to be taken to court and tried and punished. Pet Smart needs to
be boycotted and charged as accessory to this mot terrible and totally
unacceptable condition where they know of it and continue to buy
animals from these places.

Kindly contact your Pet Smart and complain, if you see any animals in
their stores that show any signs of trauma please report this to the
SPCA and animal control, do mention this show in NBC Today Show as
further support.
