KoDo
Death is the inescapable fact of life.
Whether by purpose or plunder,
malice or mistake,
Disease or disfavor,
It is always too soon, it is always too soon.
Each time it occurs to someone close,
Death becomes no easier,
No less an event,
No less a misfortune.
But perhaps the greatest misfortune,
Is when death occurs
And no one notices,
No one cares,
And no one remembers.

In this respect, Kodo was one of God's most fortunate of creatures....
