First if all, thank you to those of you who responded about the
Marshall's guarentee- I appreciate the information.  Unfortunately, and
I am typing through tears, I had to put that little baby down Monday
afternoon.  After testing at the vet, it was determined that not only was
she both blind and deaf, but had a valve from her heart leaking into her
chest.  She having an increasingly harder time breathing.  She wasn't
quite 7 weeks yet.  In my sense of grief and rage and injustice at this
entire situation, I held her while she drifted off quietly.
 
To all ferret guardians- Please keep a watch out for a little cinnamon
baby named Serena- she is very little and will need alot of help.  She
tried very hard, the world was just too much.  She had an excellent few
days at home.
