Bob - thanks for the good info about secondhand smoke.  I have never smoked
around the ferrets - I smoked outside.  Always wanted to quit and I finally
have, hopefully for forever!  Unfortunately, I live in a house where my mom
smokes, and I can't really tell her to go outside of the house she's done
what she wants in for over 30 years.  It's bad, I know it's bad, and I wish
there was no smoke anywhere!  Best I can do is keep the ferrets upstairs
and her cigarettes downstairs and keep a window open....
Any other suggestions?
 
Deb - As for mice, well, I don't know the product you are referring to, but
have you tried letting the ferrets go after them?  *grin*
