Will tell you more tomorrow, but just quickly: I got a letter from Bruce
Williams about a new canine distemper vaccine which has been tried on an
experimental basis at the National Zoo on the ferret crosses without the
rate of anaphylactic reactions seen in Fervac-D. It has actually been
developed for zoo exotics but turns out to also be great in the ferrets
which had it. The problem is that the company, Merial (which also produces
IMRAB 3), needs to be convinced that there is enough of a market for it.
VETS, if you want to learn more about this more directly, please, contact
me at my home address, so that I may forward something to you.

Bill, I am asking Bruce if I may just forward the letters to be printed on
the FML, so if he says "yes", please, do so! (Then the vets can get the
info right from the experts as can everyone else.)
