Hi, I am new to the mailing list and have only been reading for about a
month but find a lot of good information.

I now have a problem that maybe someone out there can give me some infor on.

I took my Annie to the Vet on Monday because she has been getting a little
sluggish lately and sleeping alot. The urine test showed blood in the
urine. Took x-rays but nothing showed up. Sent blood out for testing but
everything seems to be ok. Put her on Amoxicillin and blood in urine is
starting to drop a very slight bite.

She has an inlarged spleen from what the Vet can see on the x-rays and what
she feels. She is calling another Vet to get her opinion and let me know.

Is there anyone out there that can give me a clue?

Also Annie doesn't seem to want to eat her dry food so I made some chicken
broth and poured it over the food and she likes that just fine and I found
out that she likes baby sweet potatos in a jar. So I am making this for her
3 times a day to make sure that she eats and drinks. Should I be giving her
anything else?

Thanks for any help that you can provide.

Helen & Annie
