Our three year old ferret had lost her hair on the base of the tail,
probably from black hairs, as this has happened before.  Now she is
losing hair on the back end of her body.  The black heads on the tail
really isn't too bad compared to two others who have the same problem.
Could this possible be adrenal disease in the early stages?  Are there
any tests for adrenal disease before a ferret loses all their hair?
