Henry, don't give up yet.  My albino is a perfect example.  In a nutshell,
she's still a biter - almost 4 years old, however, the improevment is
dramatic.
 
Patience and love is what helped.  She didn't respond to punishment of any
kind either, whether it be nose flicking, butt smacks, firm no's, time-outs,
anything.
 
With lots of love, tons of patience and consistency, she's learned to trust
us, and we've learned to not tempt her with flesh.  She still will
occasionally nip if given the chance, but only once in a blue moon.
