The Ferret Haven in Louisville is very happy to be sending 3 of our
remaining McKay "re-rescue" ferrets to their new homes in a trip that
will take us from Kentucky to Montana and back!!

One of our wonderful volunteers has offered to make this trip and
deliver these three treasures to their new forever families with the
1st drop being in Cedar Rapids Iowa and the last in Billings Montana.
This is as happy of an ending as we could write for these ferrets who
have had a challenging life before coming to us.

Little Flower didn't know where to bite first but with lots of love and
a good foster mommy, has reformed her ways. Biscuit was just terrified
of everything and would stay curled up in a little ball. One person who
held him accurately described it when he said "this ferret's had his
spirit broken".

Biscuit has also come around after lots of love, handling and a foster
home.

Ben.....sigh.....Big Ben was aggressive when he got here but had that
"attitude adjusting surgery"..........he's as much of an angel as you
see in the picture and is very happy about moving to Montana and having
a forever family.

As much as we appreciate her offer and have taken her up on it, we
can't let our volunteer take on the whole expense and are raising funds
to help cover fuel for the 3080 mile trip. We are offering packages of
9 Ferret Notecards with pictures of "McKid" ferrets from our own
shelter for $12.00 which includes shipping. These professionally
printed cards measure 4.5" x 6.25" and are blank inside. ALL proceeds
through April 4th go directly to this cross-country delivery trip!!
