Hi! I just wanted to share with you all an experiment that worked! I
have 3 ferrets and do the litter boxes stink! I have been using Marshal
Farms (boo to the ferret business but they do make some good products!)
paper pellet litter and I scoop it every day or at busy times at LEAST
every other day. I even wash their boxes (and everything else) once every
one to two weeks. I read something in a ferret magazine about silica
pearl litter and how odor controlling it is so I decided to try it. I
mix about 1 part pearls with 4 or 5 parts paper pellets and viola! I
can't even smell their boxes anymore! Just wanted to share my success!
