You forgot the most expensive shot - rabies, which in most states has to
be administered by a Licensed Vet.  Depending upon her agreement with her
vet, that also gets slapped with a office visit charge.  Mine use to let
me take in three for the price of one plus a discount.  But not everyone
might be that lucky.  Really $35 is going pretty darn good which is what
I thought.
 
For years I always did my own distemper to save time, money and get them
protected asap.  I started getting so many reactions that I decided it
wasn't worth it.  So I started taking in my own distemper and my vet
would administer it for no charge.  Now, due to a reaction, they will
only use those they have and know where handled properly (wasn't my guys
reaction btw).  Not sure how many vets are going down that path.  But
that just adds the cost of the shots now.
