Before I forget: staring off into space and kind of weaving can SOMETIMES
be early insulinoma.  There's a very recent article by Charlie Weiss that
finds the best and longest control to come from early corrective surgery
with the area around the insulinomae as well as those tumors themselves
removed.  In your situation I think I'd have a fasting blood glucose
tolerance test done since it keeps happening.  Your vet should know about
it, and you can read about it in the medical FAQ (which you should also
copy for your vets) at that WONDERFUL RESOURCE:
