Dear Ruby;

99% of all ferrets need vaccinations. The other 1% don't get vaccinations
for a variety of reasons(e.g. medical,) but their owners are very careful
with them and any outside exposure to a disease.

How this other person could believe such a thing is beyond my scope of
comprehension. I truly believe that not having your pet ferret vaccinated
verges on a sick kind of cruelty. This is just my opinion.

I grew up in Florida and know many people there now. I know no vets that
would give out advice like that. If the vets in this persons area are not
very knowledgeable, then I suggest this person find a more knowledgeable
(preferably ferret knowledgeable) vet.
