I will always remember the rescue! I had asked a friend if she could to
bring one back to me so it could finally know love. Debby went there
and worked her butt off with her husband and others to make sure those
babies never had to be in those cages again! As it turned out she
didn't bring one back for me, BUT Renee contacted me and brought 15 to
my shelter/rescue/hospice here in NW Louisiana! I found homes for 13
and I kept 2, and named them Piglet and Ewok! Piglet passed last May
and Ewok is still with me! Both were aprox 5 - 6 months when they got
here. Ewok has since won ribbons from the LOS national shows! And the
last show there she attended she placed 1st place in rescue!! She is
a dainty little girl! She is such a sweet little girl she is also a
Certified Therapy Ferret! I will never forget the images of that place
of the photos there were no supposed to surface and am so glad they
did!!! I am so touched to have been a part of that rescue, on my end of
it was placing the ferrets into loving homes. Due to their health, some
have gone to the Rainbow Bridge that came thru me, but not all of them
have! DIP those of you from DMK that have passed on. At least you knew
love before you left all of us!!!
