Hi.

Kat asked some good questions about shelters' policies concerning which
ferrets are considered for surgery. At Cloud Nine Ferrets, we have
always considered all ferrets as equals. We have never cared if the
ferret needing surgery was a shelter ferret or a personal ferret. We
have never cared if funds were available since our vets are very good
about letting us caring a balance. (My balance was a little over $1,000
at one time.) We have never had a foster program, but if we did, those
ferrets would get surgery when it was deemed necessary by our vets.

Just my input as to how we operate.
