Relocating - Vet advice please

Hi all,
 
I will be relocating very soon to Gabriola Island, British Columbia
(Canada).  Gabriola is a 20 minute ferry ride from Nanaimo, B.C.  Is there
anyone on the list that can recommend a very good ferret vet in Naniamo.
 
My current vet (who is excellent) is about a 1 hour drive from Nanaimo,
and I need a vet a little closer, especially for emergency purposes.
