Hi Debbie :)

I would take him off the Pred. If BG is too high then they react with
tiredness and non-activity. 96 is fine for BG.

I would also add Lupron shots monthly at 100mcg. Or just go ahead and
get the surgery done. The itchiness, hair thinning, etc are all signs
and you do not want a male ferret to go too long without Lupron for the
Prostate or the surgery. Trust me on that, I dealt with it for 2 yrs
with Albert (battling the Prostate).
