As I stated prior my ferrets are named to reflect who they are as well
as their behavior. It has become abundantly obvious to me that Pester
was aptly named originally but now there is yet a better name for her.
Possibly she should be called Ambush. Yup!

I just think of going out to the back porch where they are and for
sure she has slithered out of her hammock and is waiting for me by the
sliding door licking her chops in anticipation of a treat. Peekaboo
will run around in circles but invariably she will go directly to where
I am going next so she is exactly right in the way. Even if I change my
mine about where I am going, she is right in the way under foot. I have
to be so very careful to not step on her.

It may sound that these traits are other than welcome but to the
contrary that is absolutely not. It brings a smile to my face where
they are keeping me on their minds first and foremost. If Pester is in
the house she will follow me around from room to room like a puppy. I
find that most intriguing. One cannot help but love a ferret !
