My ferret bandit has had a surprising lack of energy lately.  He keeps
wanting to poop on the floor and when I grab him (usually in the act...)
to put him in his cage he barely goes usually with wet or loose stools.
He's 4 years old now and we haven't changed his food or anything.  He has
a multi-level cage and it the other night he had the same problem, this
time leaving trails on a couple of the levels.  Also, he has peed and
tried to drink it.  We know he gets enough water as we use a porcelain
dish and refill it daily with an ice cube to help keep him cool.
