I am diligently trying to locate a pet health insurance company which covers
ferrets.  I once obtained a name and phone number from 1-800-usa-pets (they
only cover cats and dogs...what discrimination <half a grin>), but today
when I called, the lady with whom I spoke did not have such information.  If
anyone knows of such a health insurance company, please contact me at the

p.s., excuse the tone of this message.  I am just a bit upset.  My eldest
ferret (3 yrs) is going in for an ultra sound and a asperic (sp?) of the
spleen.  I am just praying it is not cancer.
