Remember folks, our cutesy little critters are carnivores

I, too, have been lurking for the last couple of years, but couldn't let
the chicken neck issue go either!

I did reply to one of the listers to remind him that it's the cooked bones
that are a danger, not bones per se. A lot of people are choosing a raw
meaty bones diet for their dogs, cats, and now for their ferrets. What
is not natural is the chemically extruded animal byproduct kibble that we
feed our companions. Yes, it's easier and convenient, but not real food.

I read where a lion in a zoo choked on his meal of bones. I've heard of
dogs choking on their kibble. Life can be dangerous! Even people choke
on their food.

That said, chicken necks are a more natural appropriate food than the cat
food most of us feed.

No flames from me,
Moe and the 8 old timers
