 Hello,

I'm not sure if this will come across the way it is supposed to, but it's
basically just a plea for the posts to continue.

I know nothing about this product except for what I have read here. I have
no urge to try it, but I find the information critical.

Both parties can't be "right" from the posts I've read. I read one side
saying that this stuff absolutely can not detect good flora from bad, and
the other side saying that there is no harm in it.

*I* need to know which is "right". I use quotes because I'm not sure if
there is a right or wrong, or if it is just factual evidence vs heresay.

So far, I have not seen the hostile environment about this, just a series
of posts where each contrict the other. To drop this debate right now
would leave a lot of people seriously confused, and I think, even more
unwilling to try this (if that is good or bad, I don't know).

I need to hear from people using this. I need to read or be able to find
this evidence that it is not harmful or is harmful or WHAT the truth is!
All of the posts have been extremely well written and very tolerant. I
know it is asking a lot, since I am neither defending nor debunking a side,
but please, please don't stop the posts!

Some of what I have read has to be provable with phone calls or research or
links or the like, can we at least have some of that if the debaters aren't
going to continue?

Thanks for your consideration on this Ela, Megan, and Mr. Killian.

 Julie

[Moderator's note: Well, as long as it's civil and is providing new info I
won't end the debate. But things are heating up a little bit, so we have
to be careful. And we are also beginning to stray a bit from ferrets and
going into the "non-specific animal" category -- we have to be careful to
stick to ferrets as much as possible.

So, while I'm not calling for an end to the debate just yet, I would like
to keep it focused and civil.

People wishing more information (and debates) about alternative methods of
animal medicine might be interested in subscribing to the "wellpet" mailing
list. More information about that list can be found at
