Some of you might remember about a month ago when I posted for help with
questions to ask a person who was selling her two ferrets. Well, despite
the lack of replies I went ahead and bought them, asking as many
questions about them as I could think of.

They aren't adjusting very well. One is quite skittish and hides, and
the other one is just too shy. They haven't been to the vet yet, but
they eat, drink play and poop fine. They play along fine with my
original two, but as soon as they hear anyone walk towards the room,
they run and hide. I've spent 3 hours a day (at least) for a month
trying to socialize them, but they just won't accept me. Their previous
owners never let them out of their cage, so they aren't very used to
hoomans. I know these things take time, but I'm not sure how much longer
I can give them. I think they need a more experienced person to help
them.

So if anyone is looking for two beautiful male fuzzbutts in the upstate
New York area (near Plattsburgh) please e-mail me for details,
information, etc.
