A few weeks ago I brought in our 4 ferrets for their distemper vaccinations.
Since we'd never had a problem before, I left as soon as they were all done.
Havoc had a reaction on the way home. I managed to get her back to the
vets' office before anything serious happened (I thought she would stop
breathing) and that's when the two youngest, Mayhem and T.D., got hit with
the same thing.

The vaccine was Fervac-D. One of the administrators called the company and
asked if there was something wrong with that vaccine lot. United Vaccine
said no, it was just a fluke. The clinic pulled that vaccine lot anyway.

The kids are all doing fine now, btw; hellacious as ever.
