Dear Anon, (I assume you posted this way due to being in an FFZ)
What really saddens me is the fact that so much time is wasted with
bickering about petty matters like this.

Sandee and Sara Ferret provide a different way to announce the passing of
another beloved pet (I'm still shedding tears over my very recent loss),
it somehow provides some closure to what is for most of us a deeply
painful experience, the posts talk of a mythical place where there is
no pain or suffering, and that somehow extends back to those grieving,
helping to prompt thoughts of a happy release and so lessen the pain of
that loss.

Lighten up, if you have religious opinions that you feel strongly about,
then I am certain there are other groups where you can share or debate
them, Im very interested in Formula 1 racing, but I dont mention that
here, it is "Off Topic" (although maybe oone day I will have a furkid
named after a racing personality and may have to explain how the naming
came about. Im in the UK, and so a fair number of posts in any given
week are of little practical use to me, we dont have FFZ's, and some
diseases (thankfully) are not an issue here(yet), I just scroll down, its
easy, it also works for other things like the occasional spats between
FML'ers that I find painful to watch, no thats not a critisism of anyone
in particular, Im just telling you how I (and I'm sure many others) deal
with it.

Im sure I recall a poster who usually would close his posts with a
blessing on all, Im not a religious person, but I didnt feel offended or
angered by it, maybe you should try to be a little more open minded about
the one or two posts per day that are genereated by this, I say one or
two as I feel sure that even if people were not posting to Sandee or Sara
Ferret, they would still post of thier loss so the actual traffic would
still be about the same, one of the functions of this list is after all
"mutual support"

The great attraction about this list is that it has a great collection
of people who exchange news and views about thier furkids (or should I
be referring to them by thier species name) the list has some great
characters, and is moderated by a really fair minded guy (IMHO) to whom
we ALL owe a great deal.

It would be really nice if in the new year we could finally stop wasting
time on these little spats about who writes what and in what context and
concentrate on the important stuff, like ending FFZ's ( I feel for the
"hidden ones") exposing cruel or neglectful pet stores, and preventing
more of these amazing creatures from being struck down with the nasty
diseases that nature has so cruelly inflicted on them. Lets not waste
time, Ferrets have such a short life span, some even moreso as I was so
painfully reminded just one week ago. There are so many out there that
need a forever home, that is what we need to be concerned about. To
borrow the tag line I use in an F1 Forum...

Just My Opinion... YMMV

Happy Holidays to all
Our thoughts are with those having sick or departed joy givers
