Well, I've done it again! It's a good thing my husband loves ferrets
as much as I do! (It also helps that he loves me too) Last week a girl
called me and asked if I would like to have her baby ferret as she did not
feel that she had enough time to devote to him. I said "yes" thinking I
might be able to find him a home. When she brought him over yesterday, I
took one look and was instantly in love. I think he's a silver mitt.
(pure white undercoat and very dark grey to black guard hairs.) He has
four white feet, a white face and a white spot on top of his head. He's
about 12 weeks old and a very big boy indeed. His name was Scooter, but
we changed it to Scooby. What a sweetie! He's from the same Canadian
ferret farm that Booker and Angelica came from. In fact, Scooby and
Booker are very similar as far as build and the shape of their heads go.
Scooby is not deaf like Booker. That would have been just too big a
coincidence. So now we have 1 dog (Lillie), 2 cats (Katt & Missy) and 7
ferrrets. Are we crazy or what??? I think I'd better quit answering my
phone.
