She is darling!!  I rushed home after work today like some child Christmas
morning!!!  When I walked in the back part of the house (she has the run of
3 bedrooms and 1 hall, 2 bathrooms--all ferret proofed) I highpitched said,
"Where's my baby, Niho"--out she came running from the sofa in one of the
bedrooms that her cage is in.  She and I played hard for about 1 hour.  She
bit me extrememly hard and I firmly said NO (no hitting or anything) and
she continued to Hiss at me and then come back.  Well, she was so tuckered
out that I laid down on the sofa to watch tv and she crawled up to my
chest.  I lightly put my hand on her and petted her head and let my hand
rest there and oh my gosh!!  She fell asleep!  I was so amazed that I must
have sat there for 30 minutes just staring at her.  She must have Barret's
spirit in her -- that is exactally what Barret used to do but not that
easily.  Niho is just my little heart!!  I don't know if I could handle
losing another one!!  I sit here and feel the tears swell up in my eyes
for my loss of Barret but know the miracle we saved with Niho!  She is my
baby!
