Greetings all.
 
I've been mostly a lurker, with an very occasional post over the last
year and a half.  I've also found this to be a wonderful resource for
questions....so here's two.
 
1. Of my 3 ferrets, one (Chewie) has a full, fluffy and very soft coat.
The other two, (Geddy and Tully) have what I consider normal coats.  All
3 eat T.F. and get the same treats (Nutrical, Ferretone and Laxatone).
Can this fuller, fluffier coat be genetic?  He is the only one who likes
to route through the litter pan (I really hope that's not the connection)
 
2. All 3 are healthy, happy and active.  Geddy is slimmer than the other
two, not to a point of being concerned, but noticiable thinner.  He is the
more active of the group, and is the best dooker of the bunch.  Anyways,
I've noticed that on his belly, he has 4 or 5 what look to be like little
warts.  He is definitely a boy, so not to confuse the "warts" with nipples.
I've taken him to the vet for colds, and the weight difference, but my vet
isn't a ferret specialist.
 
At the time, he attributed the weight difference to a cold he had at the
time (I didn't notice his belly at the time).  I've got another appointment
this Saturday for vacs for all 3.  Any suggestions on the "warts" or if i
shoud be concerned?
