Hi all,

It seems my Tyler has a very high BG (over 600!) and is in renal
failure :( He is with Dr.Anna, who is trying to stabalize him and
observe him for several days. He is getting insulin, fluids, although
he is drinking like crazy, and she is tube feeding him right now. She
also observed some staggering, but thought that may be because he is so
out of whack.

If anyone has a similar problem going on or has been thru it, please
email me,so I can know what to expect should he get thru the initial
period with her.

Tyler is a large albino male. Dr.Anna says she has seen this before pop
up out of the blue on albinos. I'm sure it's not color realated, but
it's interesting. He NEVER eats treats, not even ferretone, so where
this is coming from, who knows? Always the one you least expect, you
know?

I am really bummed. He is way too young to lose.

Regards,
Carol
