Hi Gang....
It is with a heavy heart that I type this post.

I never, EVER dreamed of doing this.... but I need to find a wonderful and
loving home for my beloved Fizz-gig....

He is currently in Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada.

My soon-to-be-husband and I are fighting about him everyday. You may
remember my post about partitions and smell, I was trying to find a way
to make my fuzzy fit-into our new apartment in Ottawa, while satisfying
my other-half's complaints about him.... well, it appears that any effort
I could make to help the situation isn't good enough, and my fiance says
he has to go. I can't believe it's come to this.

OK: Fizz-gig is a nearly 3-year-old neutered/descented sable male. He is
VERY calm, but does his usual happy-dances and dooks all the time. He
doesn't knock much over and is not a jumper... he has never bitten, comes
when called, rolls-over, plays dead, sits-up, plays "tag" and loves his
stuffed animals, sleeping on laps during car-rides, long leashed walks in
the woods, teeny slices of apple... and his Mommy.

He came to me as a rescue with a broken leg, and patches of missing hair
due to a never-removed harness... he was underweight and stunk badly. He
is totally healthy now, his last check-up was about a month ago, his coat
is full, shiny and his smell is mild. I take him only to a Naturopath
vet... and have been trying to get him onto a meat diet to no avail. He
loves Nutre MAX CAT kitten food, the top brand I could get... but if you
would like to try and get him onto a "ferret" dry food, you have my
blessing. I use Yesterdays Mews paper-based litter.

He lives well with our cat, and I want to see him go to a home with another
ferret to play with, as he has never had a fuzzy friend, but he has played
with a few visitors and gets along very well.

Right now he sleeps in a hammock suspended from an open dog carrier in his
own room.... I realize that this may not be possible in your home, but ask
that he be provided with a nice cage... and be given LOTS of love and
interactive play time.

If you have room in your home and heart, please let me know.

Yours sadly,
Kris Lantz.
