Hi everyone,

It is with a very sad heart that I write this. Mittens passed on sometime
last evening or last night. Their playtime is in the evening usually, but
yesterday we were very busy and were not able to let them out. I fed them
and went to bed.

Today, I let the other two out to play when I got home from work, but
mittens didn't respond to me shaking his sleepsack. I put my hand in to
wake him up and he was so cold... he must have died last night or yesterday
evening. I pulled out his poor little body which was so very blue. I
cleaned him up and took him to the vet to have him cremated. She said she
thinks that he did not die from the lymphoma or adrenal disease, but that
his gall bladder burst, judging from his coloring. I hope he did not feel
any pain. I'm not even sure when he left us for the Bridge.

I'm sorry, Mittens, that I was not there to hold you in your last moments.
I was going to set a vet appointment today to help you to the bridge. I
know you wanted to go... I'm sorry I was so selfish...
