Paper Towels.  ;-) Seriously though, sometimes its easier to "join them than
fight them".  Our ferrets have a room to themselves and they use paper
towels rather than a litter box.  It a small room, they have paper towel
inside their cage, one in the corner right outside the cage, and the other 3
corners have paper towel in them.  All spots are regularly used.  It would
be nice if there was just one or two places to clean up, but if I don't put
the towel down where they choose to go, I will be fighting a constant losing
battle.  Outside their room (which they have access to only when we're home)
there is two spots with paper towel down.  They're "pretty" accurate out
there.  There's 2 spots where they frequently make their "mistakes".  But
both of these spots are not good official paper towel spots because its
right by the front door.  :-)
