My vet told me yesterday that with her liver disease, she probably has
3-6 months left. What I'm wondering now, when it's time, should I take
Trina and Sugar along, so they know what happened to their sister? Trina
and Tessa came into the shelter together when they were 1 and 1 1/2, they
are extremely close. I know Trina will be looking for her and will be
confused if I leave with her, and come home without her. We've had Sugar
for 1 1/2 years, and she's bonded with both of them. Before Trina and
Tessa, I only had single ferrets. I know they pine for each other when
one dies, I've seen that happen at the shelter, would it help any if they
knew what happened, instead of their sister just disappearing? Or is
this just for my peace of mind? Has anyone done this?
