Being new this may have already been discussed at length before. I was
curious.... about a color that used to be popular in ferrets, especially
PV ferrets. Okay, actually two colors. In the eighties... a "cinnamon"
was very, very dark.... but very, very red too! It was a neat color.
There really were no light colored cinamons til later. Now... there were
black eyed ferrets that were creamy colored, and a bit yellow so to speak?
Like a very light colored Worthingtons butterscotch candy (or a cheap
butterscotch candy lol), they had no markings.... and they were called
butterscotches. Talk about gorgious.

So why have I not seen that "type" of cinnamon in years.... and why is a
"butterscotch" the way I described one, not found very often. The ones I
speak of had no hint of red, cinnamon, nor champayne/chocolate in them.
Maybe I'm dead wrong and these are still bred a lot... just a bit hard to
find in my area perhaps? Though........i've not ever ever seen a picture
online of the kind of cinnamons PV was breeding so many years ago. I
just thought it interesting is all.
