There was an article in the Peoria Journal Star this morning about a man
near hear (the man lives in rural Woodford County) that was bitten by his
pet kitten.  The kitten had contracted rabies from a skunk.
 
This is the second confirmed case of rabies in Woodford County so far this
summer.  The article goes on to encourage everyone to vaccinate their pets
against rabies.
